LeaveGain helps you plan your time off. These terms explain how you can use the site and what to keep in mind when using its recommendations.

1. Using LeaveGain

These terms apply when you use the LeaveGain website, calculator and holiday guides. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the service. LeaveGain is currently free to use and does not require an account or subscription.

2. Planning information, not leave approval

LeaveGain provides general planning information. It is not a government service, an employer, a travel agent or a provider of employment advice. A recommendation does not establish your entitlement to a holiday or approve a leave request.

Check the official holiday schedule, your workplace calendar and your employer’s approval before booking travel or making commitments. Holiday dates, regional coverage and observed days can change.

3. How recommendations work

The calculator assumes Saturday–Sunday weekends and uses the dates listed in its holiday data. It does not automatically apply every workplace’s substitute-holiday rules or alternative working patterns.

Breaks are ranked by days off per leave day, then break length and leave usage. The annual plan selects non-overlapping breaks within your balance. This is a planning heuristic, not a guarantee of the mathematically best annual plan. Total days off includes the weekends and holidays within each break.

4. Responsible use

You may use LeaveGain to explore leave opportunities and share the resulting cards. Do not use the site to break the law, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access or misrepresent yourself as LeaveGain. Do not present a recommendation as official holiday guidance or employer approval.

5. Content and shared images

You may download and share the card images generated by the site for personal planning, including with colleagues, friends and family. Keep the LeaveGain attribution visible and do not alter an image in a way that misrepresents its recommendation. This permission does not transfer ownership of the LeaveGain name, logo or original website design.

Public holiday facts and third-party materials remain subject to any rights that apply to their original sources.

6. Privacy and external services

Our Privacy policy explains how calculator settings, website access and sharing are handled. When you follow an external link or share through another app, that service’s own terms and privacy policy apply.

Areas labelled “Advertisement” are currently placeholders. No advertising scripts are active. We will update the relevant information if advertising or other external services are introduced.

7. Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep LeaveGain useful and accurate, but cannot promise that every date or recommendation is error-free or that the site will always be available. Features and data may be corrected, changed or removed. Keep your own record of any plans you want to retain.

You remain responsible for checking recommendations against your circumstances. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies, or limits liability, where applicable law does not allow that exclusion or limitation.

8. Changes to these terms

When these terms change, the revised version and its update date will appear here. Review this page when you return to the site. Changes apply to subsequent use and do not remove rights that have already arisen.
